Sinopsis
Demi Moore gives the best performance of her career in the role of Elisabeth Sparkle, a formerly famous actress who, in her middle age, is suddenly fired from her television exercise show by Harvey (Dennis Quaid), the unpleasant studio director. Then she is drawn to the opportunity offered by a mysterious new medication: THE SUBSTANCE. All she needs is an injection and, just like that, she is reborn, temporarily, as a beautiful twenty-something girl, Sue (Margaret Qualley). The only rule? You have to divide the time: exactly one week in one body and then one week in the other. No exceptions. A perfect balance. What can go wrong?
